What are Milia?
Milia are creamy coloured small hard lumps of trapped keritinized sebum often found around the eye area.
Milia are permanently removed in seconds without the skin damage that can be caused by squeezing and lancing.
They are commonly found on dry skin and are a sign of incorrect skincare, although treatment is simple you must address the cause to prevent new Milia forming.
pHformula Exfo cleanse, a gentle enzyme cleanser is my first choice to prescribe to prevent Milia, lasts 4 months+, removes eye makeup and doubles as a Face Mask.

Most clients experience minimal to no downtime however, some discomfort and unnapealing appearance is natural and expected. The sensation is similar to sunburn (possibility of swelling, redness, heat, sensitivity up to 48 hrs).
Blemish removal: Scabs for up to 14 days.
Immediate after Advanced Electrolyis treatment the body begins the healing process creating a small histamine reaction as the photo illustrates, this minor swelling usually resolves within hours.
Clients tolerate Advanced Electrolysis without issue, there may be mild discomfort for a few seconds like a hot pin prick.
Numbing cream: Although it is possible to use topical anaesthetic most clients don't find it necessary.
"Emla" Numbing cream (around £4) can be purchased OTC from your chemist. Apply a thick layer 1 hour before treatment and where possible cover the area with a plaster or cling film.
